Before he was anyone's ally, he was the nightmare of every ninja in the tournament. A red-haired boy with a tattoo on his forehead, a gourd full of sand and a childhood nobody would wish on anyone. Many of us watched him change, episode after episode, and learnt that the scariest one in the room is sometimes just the loneliest.

The design

Drawn from scratch at Nakama Clothing: the sand ninja with the calm of someone who never needs to raise his voice. It is our reinterpretation, not merch, so it works as everyday anime clothing and as a wink for whoever gets the reference.

Built for cold days

Wear it over a T-shirt when the temperature drops, pull the hood up on the way home and keep your hands in the kangaroo pocket. It is unisex, the hood is lined in the main fabric and the cord matches the colour, so it still looks tidy after a whole weekend on the sofa.
