Afro, moustache, champion's belt and a victory pose for every camera in sight. While the real heroes were saving the planet behind the scenes, he was the one taking the bows, the trophies and the applause. A complete fraud, of course. But a lovable one with a big heart, and every kid who watched it after school secretly adored him for it.
The design
We drew him from scratch at Nakama Clothing, mid-pose, with all the confidence of someone who has never won a real fight against the big guys. Our own take, not merch: classic anime humour that fans will recognise from across the street.
